“Cheap Channel”

Minh’s Notes

Salon has an interesting feature today about ClearChannel’s rush to take advantage of radio deregulation — and, pretty much, take over the radio industry.

I never knew that ClearChannel was a bad guy. Sure, there are eight ClearChannel radio stations and one television station in Cincinnati, but I didn’t really think much of it. After all, all of these stations used to be owned by Jacor Communications, and then CitiCasters before that. There’s no difference, right?

I guess not, but there must be a problem, because, judging from the article, ClearChannel knows only the color green.
